One of the unique things about us is that we really are a family -- outside of clown personae, Petunia (Barb) and Tutti Frutti (Art) are the parents of Rosie (Amy), Melissa (a facepainter and assistant to the clowns), and Sarah (Miss Peety Watty).

Rosie has been clowning since 1997. She's attended Clown Town (1999, 2000) and Mooseburger Clown Camp (1999, 2000). In addition to being a member of Colorado Clowns (COAI Alley 39), she's served on their board. She enjoys children and loves to make them laugh.
Outside of clowning, Rosie teaches English at a Denver high school and is a graduate student in the School of Education at CU Denver. She is also active in her church teaching catechism and recently completed a year as co-advisor for a middle school religious education group.

Petunia has been clowning since 1999. She's learning from her big sister Rosie and participates in Colorado Clowns when Rosie lets her come along. (They even let her be their secretary for 2001.) She's attended Clown Town and Mooseburger Clown Camp once each (2000). She loves to tease Rosie and make kids happy.
Outside of clowning, Petunia is an active volunteer with Boy Scouts, works as an educational aide in the office of a high school, and enjoys spending time with her granddaughter, who she first put a clown nose on when she was four days old.

Miss Peety Watty started clowning in 2002 after teaching herself to juggle. She's one of the youngest members of Colorado Clowns at the moment after waiting years to be old enough to join herself. Sometimes we joke she's a mini-Rosie, but she's becoming an excellent facepainter and twister in her own right.
Outside of clowning, Miss Peety is an honors student active in volunteering and her church's youth ministry. She enjoys writing, art, and learning new arts and crafts.
Tutti Frutti ran away to join the circus when he was just 13 and his uncle offered him the chance to be a clown with his circus for the summer. He only got as far as Las Vegas before his mother caught up with him and told him he had to finish school first, but now that he has he's back and funnier than ever.
Outside of clowning, Tutti Frutti volunteers with Telephone Pioneers of America, Boy Scouts, and the PTA and teaches catechism at his church. He enjoys photography, live music, and spending time outdoors.
